Tuesday - 4/2/19

Now that everyone has their mindset right after Mindset March (just kidding-keep working on it!) it is time for a new spring challenge. This month we chose the iconic CrossFit workout Cindy as our challenge to you. Cindy is an AMRAP of 5 pullups, 10 pushups, and 15 air squats for 20 minutes. The intention of this challenge is to prepare us for our Memorial Day Murph WOD which is essentially Cindy on steroids capped at both ends with a run.

For this month, log as many rounds of Cindy as possible. Don't be afraid to get creative! Maybe try a baseline Cindy for yourself in the beginning of the month then switch to variations like strict Cindy, double Cindy, half Cindy, Cindy with jumping squats (yikes), or change up the rep scheme. Whatever work you put in, no matter the variation, will help prepare you for Murph at the end of May.

Don’t forget to log your rounds on the blackboard at the entrance of the gym. Let the Cindy Challenge begin.

    • Score = Total Rounds & Reps

    • Rx1 = 95/65 lbs

    • Rx3 = 135/95 lbs

EMOM x 10

  • 5 Front Squats (As Heavy as Possible)

    • Barbell starts on the ground

    • Score 1 = Weight used for Minutes 1-5

    • Score 2 = Weight used for Minutes 6-10
