Welcome to July! For this month we chose All Things Dumbbells for our monthly challenge. The dumbbell was a new piece of equipment the Open adopted in 2016, and they have appeared in many movements every year since. What better time to make friends with the dumbbell than in the sweatiest month of the year?
This month you will select one or many dumbbell movements to practice and perfect as many days as you can. Each day you are at the box aim to either practice a few sets or drills to help become comfortable with a particular movement or a heavier weight, or try to do one WOD a week that incorporates a new DB movement. Congratulations to everyone who made June’s Finest, to make the list you must have attended 16 Classes, Open Gym sessions, or Beer WODs throughout the past month. An honorable mention is given to anyone who was one class shy.
