Strongtown's Reopening

Strongtown's Reopening

After what feels like an eternal hiatus from business-as-usual, we are back! We are just as eager as you are to open our doors and get back to our regular routine. Despite our eagerness, there will be some modifications to what business-as-usual will initially look like. With limited guidelines from the state, we are doing our best to make sure we can open our doors and offer you the best experience possible while prioritizing your health, safety, and other concerns.

Always Improving - April's Changes

Always Improving - April's Changes

Looking forward to April, we want to bring everyone up to speed with some changes that are happening around Strongtown.

As I’m sure everyone is painfully aware, we have not been able to run classes out of our facility for the past couple of weeks. To say this has been an adjustment is a bit of understatement. We’ve essentially had to transition from a gym to a media studio overnight. Fortunately, I was a nerd long before I was a CrossFitter so deep down this is all stuff I love….

The Elephant in the Gym - Billing

The Elephant in the Gym - Billing

As we continue to progress through these times of uncertainty, I wanted to take a moment to address the metaphorical elephant in the room, or our case, the gym.

Account billing…

First off – I completely apologize for not addressing this item sooner. We realize that the current situation is impacting millions around the country. People are being let go, businesses are being forced to shut down, and some are dealing with loved ones who are potentially sick.

Understandably, we have had numerous questions about whether we’ll be freezing everyone’s accounts during this time.

This is a dynamic situation and I want to start off by talking about some of the positives.\

I’m a big advocate of stoic philosophy and if there is any silver lining in this situation it’s that crisis breeds innovation and adaptation....neither one of those are bad.

COVID-19: What we’re doing + What you can do

COVID-19: What we’re doing + What you can do

In light of the current events & concerns with COVID-19 happening around the country, we wanted to take a moment to share some of the precautions we are taking as well as a few friendly reminders of what you can do.

At Strongtown we pride ourselves on ensuring that cleanliness of our facility is held to a high standard.

We are a family-oriented community and our primary concern is providing a safe and healthy environment for fitness.

Here's what we’re doing:

Motivation is a Sucker

Motivation is a Sucker

Around the corner is a new decade. It is the season for New Year’s resolutions, restarts, and the time to once again promise ourselves we will cheerfully pursue the path to positive change. Maybe it is one too many holiday cookie-comas, but by the new year, we feel motivated! Gyms are packed and we stock our grocery carts full of vegetables and lean meats. Some of us dry out and lay off the alcohol, sugar, and dairy for the month of January.
